A remake of Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Kirti Kulhari starrer Pink, which earned accolades for its strong message, the Telugu remake Vakeel Saab starring the superstar Pawan Kalyan roared at the box office with stupendous performance. The hard-hitting drama opened to a bumper response in the morning shows in Andhra Pradesh where still 100% occupancy is allowed. The film was expected to open around Rs 30 crore but as per early estimates it exceeded the expectations and opened to Rs 37 crore and might beat the Tamil film Master which collected Rs 34.80 crore on its first day.
Vakeel Saab earned Rs 23 crore alone in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana region. This film is directed by Venu Sree Raam and produced by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor.
