Despite the government restriction on key places in India and rising COVID-19 cases, Vakeel Saab starring Pawan Kalyan is unstoppable and unbeatable at the domestic box office.
A remake of Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Kirti Kulhari starrer Pink, which earned accolades for its strong message, the Telugu remake Vakeel Saab starring the superstar Pawan Kalyan roared at the box office with stupendous performance. The hard-hitting drama opened to a bumper response in the morning shows in Andhra Pradesh where still 100% occupancy is allowed. The film was expected to open around Rs 30 crore but it exceeded the expectations and opened to Rs 40 crore beating the Tamil film Master which collected Rs 34.80 crore on its first day. The first week collection of Vakeel Saab stood at 100.10 crore.
There was a big drop on second week due to the rising cases limiting Vakeel Saab collect Rs 1.75 Cr on 2nd Friday,
Rs 2.10 Crore on 2nd Saturday, Rs 2.80 Crore on Sunday and Rs 1.10 crore on Monday. As per early report, Vakeel Saab collected somewhere around Rs 75 – 80 lakhs on 2nd Tuesday, bringing the 12 days total to around Rs 108.60-108.70 crore.
