Manchester United will be hosting AC Milan for the Europa League fixture on Thursday at 11:25 PM IST at Old Trafford. The two heavyweights clashing is one of the most anticipating matches of the on-going week.
Both teams have been highly successful in the European competitions and will be aiming to clinch the prestigious Europa League title. Manchester United and AC Milan, both are having a similar kind of season so far, both teams are second in their respective leagues.
The head-to-head competition between the two teams has been tied as both teams won five games each against each other. There have been no draws between the two teams and on Thursday the two teams will be clashing for the first time since 2010.
Manchester United will be missing the services of David De Gea and Paul Pogba. The duo of Scott McTominay and Dean Henderson has been managed to fill David and Pogba’s void. Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford’s inclusion seems doubtful.
On the other hand for AC Milan, Ismael Bennacer, Mario Mandzukic, Hakan Calhanoglu and Daniel Maldini are injured. Star player Zlatan Ibrahimovic is recovering from an injury. There’s uncertainty over Theo Hernandez and Ante Rebic’s inclusion on Thursday.
