The injury prone Indian team was hit with another blow when the prime pacer Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out from the fourth Test match against Australia. The fourth match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will be held at The Gabba, Brisbane.
Bumrah has been ruled out from the fourth Test due to an abdominal strain which he picked up in the Sydney Test. Ishant Sharma was the first Indian bowler to get ruled out from the Test series, his exclusion was announced even before the Test series begun. Mohammed Shami broke his wrist while facing Pat Cummins in the first Test match of the bilateral series and was ruled out from the remainder of the series immediately. Umesh Yadav pulled his calf muscle in the boxing day Test match and couldn’t return to the field after that incident. Bumrah also joints the list of the injured Indian pacers along with Shami, Yadav and Sharma. India’s experienced bowlers have been ruled out ahead of the Brisbane Test, which will be creating a lot of issues for the visitors.
