Mumbai’s legendary cricketer Wasim Jaffer turns 43 years old on Tuesday, February 16. Wasim Jaffer made his international debut in cricket on February 24, 2000, against South Africa. The legend of the domestic cricket announced his retirement in March 2020 from all forms of cricket. Jaffer played 31 Test matches for India in which he scored 1944 runs with five centuries and 11 half-centuries. The right-handed batsman had a groundbreaking record in the first-class cricket, he featured in 260 games, scored 19,410 runs with 57 centuries and 91 half-centuries at a staggering average of 50.67. Jaffer grabbed everyone’s attention when he smashed 400 runs in an innings in a school competition.
