Google CEO Sundar Pichai Is Highest Paid Employee with Salary of Rs 1869 CR

IIT Graduate Sundar Pichai is the chief executive officer(CEO) of Alphabet Inc. He is one the highest paid employee in the world. The 50 year old tech leader is one the most the most prominent figure in the world. It is reported that his annual salary package was worth $ 2million from 2020 to 2022. But according to the latest report he has a whooping  salary package in 2022 worth Rs 1869 Crore. He took away a whooping amount of $226 million in compensation. He received most of his pay  through stock awards that was worth $218 million . According to the report $6 million was included in his compensation package for personal security in 2022.

He became one of the highest paid corporate leader in the world. People became more intrigued with his  salary number after Alphabet announced a Layoff of 6% of its employess in begining of the year. People have criticized and showed thier dissatifaction over the distribution of proportion after the layoff announcement. Employees have shown the anger and have been  protesting against the layoff in various Alphabet offices. This recent event has brought distress in the Alphabet company. Sundar Pichai is the first indian orginated American to achieve this high sucess in the tech world.
