Severe Storms Arrive In Washington DC Area, Flight Cancellations, Power Cut And Flood Alert!

On Monday, August 7,The weather forecast agency had alerted  the people of US of strong destructive storma, tornadoes, hail and lighting and the residents were altered to take protection measures. They were warned to stay home and to be well prepared for the severe storms. After the warning thousands of flights were cancelled or delayed, power supply was cut at many places. School and colleges were closed. Red alert was given in US as sever storms and tornadoes were expected.

Some severe storms had arrive in Washington DC area in late Monday afternoon. Due heavy stroms tress were collapsed and power outage had happen in many areas.

The national weather Service had forecast a massive destructive wetather and gave Red Alert to Washington DC area of tornado watch till 9 pm. Floods Warning were also given till Tuesday morning. They also forecasted that destructive hurricance-force winds will arrive. The storms were massive along with Washington DC red alert were impossed across 10 states from Tennessee to New York. After the notice were provided, by Monday afternon more than 1,300 US flights were cancelled and more than 5,500 flights were delayed. It is reported that due to bad wether more than 5.8 lakh people were leaving without power supply in the area of Tennessee, North  Carolina, Maryland, Georgia and Vargina.  

The White House pushed President Joe Biden's depature by 90 minutes of his four-day trip to Arizon New Mexico and Utah.
