Pushpa 2: The Rule Break Records
Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule is not yet out in theaters, but it is creating ripples by writing a fresh history at the box office. The film has become the fastest movie to sell over 1 million tickets on BookMyShow, surpassing the Kalki 2898 AD, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, and K.G.F.: Chapter 2. In a press statement, the to be released December 5 movie has been said to have had record-setting pre-orders. Pushpa 2 crossed the mark of 1 million tickets on the largest ticket platform – BookMyShow.
“Breaking all records, Pushpa 2: The Rule has become the fastest movie to surpass the 1 million tickets sold on BookMyShow, crossing Kalki 2898 AD, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and K.G.F.: Chapter 2,” said Ashish Saksena, COO - Cinemas, BookMyShow.
The movie is causing a huge buzz across the country and several towns have come out as the hotspots concerning this movie.
“Fans rushed to get their tickets booked, on BookMyShow, across the country with Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Pune leading the charge. Anticipation for Pushpa 2: The Rule is at an all-time high across both northern and southern markets, with distinct factors fuelling this excitement,” shared Ashish.

Now, the film is expected to set a new benchmark post-release. The sequel to the 2021 hit film Pushpa: The Rise has now sold over ₹42.50 crore worth of presales to worldwide market. Pushpa 2: They added that the Rule has generated ₹25.57 crore gross through pre-sales in India alone, till now. The film was able to sell tickets for over 16000 shows, over 800 000 tickets. The film has grossed over two million dollars(₹16.93 crore)in pre-sales making a a total of over ₹ 42.50 crore collection in India and USA. More than one thousand one hundred places and 65 thousand tickets have been sold in the United States. Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh government has announced a ticket price hike for Pushpa 2: The Rule.
