From Alia Bhatt To Kriti Sanon, Celebs Choose To Wear Ethnic Outfits At The National Awards!

Trending: On October 17, The National Awards ceremony took place in Delhi. Where actors were felicitated with the prestigious award. To attend the event, celebrities opted for ethnic outfits, they chose to wear pastel color sarees.

 On October 17, The 69th National Awards ceremony took place at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi, where actors were felicitated with the prestigious award. President Droupadi Murmu confered the recipients with the award. Bollywood celebrities always serve stylist and fashionable look at award ceremonies. This year actress Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon and many other celebrities painted the town with their ethnic fashion statements, they chose to wear pastel color sarees and traditional bandgala blazar at the National Awards.

Alia Bhatt:

Alia Bhatt was honoured with the best actress award for her exceptional performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Gangubai Kathiawadi" at National Award ceremony. Alia attended the event with her husband-actor Ranbir Kapoor. For the special ocassion she opted for ethinic ivory saree. Alia re-wore her wedding ivory-gold Sabyasachi drape. Alia Bhatt's ivory wedding saree had a deatiled gold-embroidery. She rocked her look with a statement choker and a matching elaborate stud earring She opted for a mininal make-up look  and she tied her hair in a messy bun and she added fresh white roses. Alia looked beautiful and elegant in her ethnic attire.

Kriti Sanon:

Kriti Sanon was feliciated with a the best actress award for her exceptional performance in Mimi at the prestigious National Award ceremony. She shared the honour with Alia Bhatt who also received the award for Gangubai Kathiawadi. For the big day, Kriti opted for a beautiful ivory saree by aced fashion designer Manish Malhotra. The folds of her saree had a touch of blue and pink. She opted for a mininal make-up look and she tied her hair in a bun. She completed the look with a statment elaborate stud earring.

Waheeda Rehman:

Veteran actress Waheeda Rehman received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India's higest film honour at National Award 2023. She looked beautiful and elegant in a cream-ivory saree. She gracefully carried her ivory saree look which had an intricate embriodery in it. She completed the look with kohl in her eyes and she did her elegant jura hairstyle. She wore a layered necklace, dainty earrings and a ring to style the saree.

Allu Arjun:

Allu Arjun was honoured with the best actor award for his exceptional performance in Pushpa:The Rise at National Award. He became the first Telugu actor to received the prestigious award. For the specail ocassion, Allu opted for a traditional ethnic look. He wore aced designer Kunal Rawal outfit for his big day, he opted for white bandhgala with a contrasting pocket deatiled paired with fit trousers. He complimented the look with brown brogues. He looked edgy and dashing in is white attire.

Karan Johar:

Bollywood Filmmaker Karan Johar's movie Shershah was honoured with the Special Jury Award in the Feature Film Category at The National Award. For the special ocassion, Karan Johar opted for traditional ethic look by aced designer Manish Malhotra.  He wore a black bandhgala kurta with white pants. He looked dapper as ever in his black-white attire.
