Liam Payne's Girlfriend Kate's First Post After His Death
Kate Cassidy, the girlfriend of Liam Payne, posted about her feelings on the social media for the first time after the singer died on October 17. Clicking through to her Instagram page on Wednesday, Kate then posted a series of photos featuring Liam and, noting that she cannot even begin to fathom life without him. She also revealed that the two were set to engage or get married in the next one year. She speaks how much they were close friends and what a difference in her life Liam made.
"As you can tell, it’s hard even to know where to start. It is still too painful for me to even find the words to describe the breakage of my heart. I wish you could know the positive changes you have caused yet the world is so gloomy to you now. You were the one who spread joy and good energy wherever you went – millions of viewers, your relatives, friends and me. In another Instagram post, she said: “You are so incredibly loved.”
She continued, “You are – and this is the thing I can hardly say where – the best friend, the love of my life, and everyone you’ve ever met was feeling just the same as I did. You had this air about you that kept everyone around you full of energy, no matter where we were. All of this is like a dream, so I still find it hard to digest the fact that you are no longer with us. I am having a sort of brainstorming how to spend the rest of my life without your company. Together we got to be kids again and there was always happiness in the smallest of things. And I feel so much like I am nothing, really like I’ve lost the very best in me. There is no reason why I should not see you every day and hear you laughing and showering with me, love. You enlightened me so much. As a matter of fact a few weeks ago we were out in the evening enjoying the good weather as we created our lives together.
Kate also recalls a moment with Liam and she said, "I keep your note near me even if you don’t want me to.’ It stated ‘Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444.’ Liam, I know we will be together forever but not as man and wife. You'll always be with me. I've gained a guardian angel. We will love each other till the end of time and pass your dreams and memories with you into eternity. Forever yours, Katelyn 444."
His death was as a result of alleged falling from the balcony of a hotel in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was 31. While the initial reports suggested that Payne had falled down three floors of the hotel, Pablo Policicchio the communications director for the Buenos Aires Security Ministry was to later state that Payne “had jumped from the balcony of his room.”
