BBOTT2: The Finale Episode Was Watched By 72 Lakh Viewers, 25 Crore Votes were Registered!

Big Boss OTT 2 has become one of the most successful season and has made records. It is India's one of the most loved and popular reality show. On, Monday the show got wrapped up and Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan announced  Elvish Yadav as the winner of the season and Abhsihek Malhan emerged as the first runner up of the show. The OTT season was  streamming on the digital platfrom Jio Cinema. The  finale epiode was streamed by a total of 23 lakh viewers who watch the entrie live telecast of the grand finale. During the live voting, the show managed to gained 72 lakh viewers at a peak. who were streaming the show on Jio Cinema. 

250 milllion votes were received during live voting!

According to the reports, 250 million votes (25 crores) votes were received when voting line were  opened for 15 minutes for the top two contestants of Big Boss OTT 2 for Elvish Yadav and Abhishek Malhan on Jio Cinema. As per the close source to Jio, the margin between top finalist during Live vote was 54-46%.

According to the reports by Jio Cinema, During the two months of the season,in all, total of 5.4 billion votes (540 crores) were recorded for the contestants on Jio Cinema platfroms. Overall, Big Boss OTT 2 had more than 100 million viewers with an aggregate watch time of 30 billion minutes, Exculding the sports, it is one of the higesht viewership for a livestream event in India. 

A senior Jio Cinema exceutive have reportedly given a statement stating, " The kind of numbers thtat Big Boss OTT2 has delivered this time, the kind of viewership is just staggering", In the entertainment space, this eems to have been one of the biggest in the world, and by a mile in India,".
