Amid Hollywood Strike, Netflix Offers 7.4 crore Job To AI Manager

It is widely known that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is taking away many employees’ bread and butter and also, multiple companies are looking to use the technology to boost their growth. While also as per some other reports, several production houses are planning to implement AI technology that might replace human led-jobs. 

Due to this, has caused fear of concern among many people and Hollywood unions like the Writer’s Guild of America, the Screen Actors Guild, and the American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (SAG-AFTRA) have started a strike against this case about pay and the interesting impact of AI on their current jobs.

And amidst this case, the streaming platform Netflix company has released their list of job offerings roles to enhance the effectiveness of their machine-learning programme for AI professionals with some massive salary amounts!

One such role AI Product Manager tops the list with an annual salary of up to $900,000, which is approximately Rs 7.4 crore. Yes, you heard that right! Talking about the role of Technical Director for its Game studio, which requires expertise in Artificial Intelligence. Its offering annual salary is $650,000 that approximately goes up to Rs. 5 crores.

The statement of the streaming platform on the website read, “The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $300,000–$900,000.” Their aim is to leverage AI technology for content acquisition, delivering personalised recommendations and much more.

And Netflix has now started receiving backlash for promoting these AI-oriented jobs during the ongoing strike crisis.

Also, several Hollywood stars came in support SAG-AFTRA strike including the actress Priyanka Chopra, who is also part of their member, along with George Clooney, Matt Damon, Susan Sarandon, Emily Blunt and more.
