Production for the highly anticipated Netflix series Rakt Bramhand – The Bloody Kingdom has officially begun in Mumbai. This ambitious project is helmed by Raj & DK in collaboration with director Rahi Anil Barve and long-time partner Sita R Menon, under their production company D2R Films. Set in a fantastical kingdom, the series promises a gripping and edgy narrative with bloody action and stunning visuals. The stellar cast includes Aditya Roy Kapur, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Ali Fazal, and Wamiqa Gabbi, bringing an epic tale filled with intrigue, betrayal, and thrilling action to life.

The production team has been working tirelessly to bring this large-scale project to fruition. Earlier this year, it was reported that Aditya Roy Kapur and Samantha Ruth Prabhu underwent intensive sword-fighting training in preparation for their roles, which are now being realized on screen. Despite the challenge of simultaneously filming the third season of their hit series The Family Man, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are closely overseeing all aspects of Rakt Bramhand – The Bloody Kingdom. Known for their unique blend of humor, action, and compelling storytelling, the creators are expected to bring the same magic to this series.

According to a Mid-day report, a source from the set shared details about the production: "Rakt Bramhand is Raj-DK's first action-fantasy series set in a fictional kingdom. Even as they shoot The Family Man, they are constantly monitoring the progress of Rakt Bramhand. The scale of this production is unlike anything they've done before. We started shooting two weeks ago and are currently filming some intricate action sequences at Bahubali Studio in Borivali. There will be a 10-day break soon, after which we'll resume in October. Most of the shooting will take place on this set and in other locations around the city until February 2025."
