Romeo Akbar Walter (2019)
Based on the true story of RAW agent, Ravindra Kaushik, John Abraham starrer RAW (Romeo Akbar Walter) was directed by Robbie Grewal, RAW and starred Jackie Shroff, Sikander Kher and Mouni Roy in a pivotal role. RAW was a dark thriller owing to its subject but audience feedback was good which led the spy flick to collect Rs 42.50 crore against a a budget of Rs 35 crore (Production Cost: 25 Crore, Prints & Advertising Cost: 10 Crore) and turned out to be a “Plus” for its investors.

A remake of classic film , Chashme Buddoor starring Farooq Shaikh, Deepti Naval, Saeed Jaffrey, Rakesh Bedi and Ravi Baswani, the remake Chashme Baddoor received flak for its poor direction, over the top comedy and weak music. Nevertheless, the film was loved the current junta which made the film earn a solid Rs 42.16 crore against a budget of Rs 20 crore.

Aankhen (2002)
A money heist thriller with high-profile actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen, Aankhen was one of its kind with a solid story of an old banker seeking revenge on his place of work where he spent his life building the foundation but was fired because of his temperament. Aankhen won rave reviews from critics and audience alike, for its unusual storyline, well executed direction and acting, with Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar winning the hearts. Unfortunately, the film could not do wonder at the box office, collecting Rs 18 crore against a budget of Rs 17 crore, turning out to be an “Average” grosser.
