Ajay Devgn is one of the biggest superstar in Bollywood who has explored different genre of films ever since his debut in 1991 with Phool Aur Kante. The fans of the Tanhaji star is eagerly waiting to get an update of his next big release and seems like we got some answer for you.
The next big release of Ajay Devgn is Bhuj: The Pride of India which is being directed by the first time director Abhishek Dudhaiya. As per the news, 90% of the film shoot was completed before the COVID-19 lock down begun hence the makers are keen to complete the rest of the work once the government resumes the normal service.
As per source, it was revealed “Though there are a few shooting days left for the film, the makers are very well aware of the post unlock situation wherein theatre-goers might be apprehensive to go in crowded places. Keeping all this in mind, the producers are in talks with Hotstar to get a direct digital release, given that further delay will only add to the production cost. The makers are trying to crack a good deal with the platform. Talks are currently on a primary stage.“
With Gulabo Sitabo, Lootcase and Shakuntala Devi making it the Amazon Studio, the other OTT platform are trying to cash in on the opportunity since the impact of COVID-19 will still take some time.
Set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, Bhuj The Pride Of India tells the story about IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, who with his team reconstructed the IAF airbase with the help of 300 local women
Bhuj The Pride Of India is being produced by T-Series and also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt in key roles. The film was supposed to release on the Independence Day this year but was impacted by the Corona virus issue.
