Directed by Harry Bawaeja, Qayamat was a remake of Hollywood action film, Rock, starring Nicholas Cage and Sean Connery. Being the debut film of Neha Dephia, Qayamat had a big star cast lead by Ajay Devgn, Arbaaz Khan, Sanjay Kapoor, Suniel Shetty and Ashish Chaudhary. The action scenes were well executed coupled with good songs which led the film  the movie turn into decent earner at the box office, collecting Rs 17.46 crore against a budget of Rs 16 crore.
