Jolly LLB 2 (2018)
The prequel 2013’s “Jolly LLB” was a major hit which featured Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani and Saurabh Kapoor. The second part, Jolly LLB 2, starring Akshay Kumar was bigger in terms of budget with its share of fun elements and drama around it. After delivering solid three super hits “Airlift”, “Housefull 3” and “Rustom” in 2016. “Jolly LLB 2” was the only solo release of the week and came in the perfect time where people would love to go for comedy and fun-loving story.
Also starring Huma Qureshi, Saurabh Shukla and Annu Kapoor in key roles, Jolly LLB 2 received solid reviews, and opened well and collected Rs 117 crore against a budget of Rs 30 crore.
Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012)
Released at the perfect time, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu was one of the perfect rom-com flicks to celebrate the Valentine’s Day with your loved ones. Directed by Shakun Batra (who made Kapoor & Sons later), Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu had a fantastic performances by Kareena Kapoor, Imran Khan, Ram Kapoor coupled with tuneful songs by Amit Trivedi which was brilliantly written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu collected a very good Rs 40.10 crore against a budget of Rs 32 crore at the box office.
