There were two significant Bollywood films which were released today in the past years – John Abraham, Sonakshi Sinha starrer Force 2 and Neha Sharma starrer Tum Bin 2 . Let us check how the films fared at the box office.
Force 2 (2016)
John Abraham has successfully created a niche market for himself as hardcore action star. Though he had partial success 2016 with critically acclaimed Rocky Handsome and the action-comedy Dishoom playing well with audience, Force 2 has number of factors which will make it a curious watch to the audience. The trailer of Force 2 was simply superb with solid car chase and well executed action scenes especially the first person shoot out towards the end of the trailer. Force 2 is directed by Abhinay Deo who previously made Delhi Belly and also starred Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin.
Force 2 performed below the mark at the box office with Rs 35.20 crore against a budget of Rs 40 crore.

T-series does a good job for making a good musical drama. They have succeeded 15 years back with Tum Bin which was a massive hit and the songs, in particularly, were well-liked. The franchises returned back with the sequel Tum Bin 2 with new comers, except for gorgeous Neha Sharma who has been industry for sometime.
Tum Bin 2 certainly had few advantages like popular franchises, good support from T-Series and chart bursting songs. Unfortunately, the movie opened to tepid response as it clashed with Force 2 and could collect only Rs 4.48 crore against a budget of Rs 15 crore.
