Taylor Swift must be over the moon as the singer will be the first woman in the history of Grammy Awards to win album of the year three times.
The singer bagged the top prize on Sunday for ‘Folklore’, her 8th studio album, created during quarantine, become the best-selling album of 2020.
The other musician to win it thrice were Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, and Paul Simon.
During the award acceptance speech, the star thanked the producer Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner, Justin Vernon, boyfriend Joe Alwyn, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and her three children.
She also performed a medley of ‘Cardigan’, ‘August’ and ‘Willow’.
