Mumbai, a city of dreams which never sleeps have talented artists & celebs in every corner. Read on to know all about Sushanshu Purohit who is embarking a new chapter in his life.
Behind every great artist is a great artist manager. Ask any working artist, and they’ll be quick to point to their manager(s) as the key to many of their successes and the integral driver behind their longevity. The artist-manager relationship is unique, deep, involved, and complicated all at once. It’s the reason why artists and managers are able to connect on so many levels — business, personal, and everything in between — to accomplish the same goals and achieve maximum results together.
When accidentally falling into artist management, Sudhanshu Purohit has achieved so much at such a small amount of time. Creating his own management firm, Rink Talent Management, he’s taking every opportunity by storm and making big things happen. With his determined attitude and big plans, Sudhanshu proves that anything is possible, but also that we can stumble upon our calling at any time, or anywhere. His story is inspiring and hopeful. Let’s talk about things like artist management, and so much more.
Sudhanshu, a Gym enthusiast, born in Jodhpur & brought up in Bombay used to organize musical events under the name of Sound of Dessert in association with famous Dj’s from Mumbai – His artist management journey started through a party where he met ‘Mukti Mohan’ through a friend & after discussing their work interest, He went to manage her one musical event & from there he started his artist management journey in 2015.
He started managing the work-life of ‘Shakti Mohan’ (from 2015-2017). He says, ‘When I started my career in artist management, I didn’t have the clarity on what and how am going to do. Initially, for a few projects, I was managing my artists little informally (sorry guys) & when I look back to my first project & see myself now, I have come a long way’. With time, I understood that A good manager guides a career instead of reacting to one. They need to be good at creating and executing the road-map that’s going to take the artist beyond their vision, but also understand their artists enough to know what type of opportunities to pursue in order to keep their artistic integrity.’
Sudhanshu manages Artist like Sumeet Vyas (Managing from 2017 – till present), Namit Das (Managing from 2017 – till present), Gopal Dutt (Managing From 2017- till present), Shruti Vyas (Managing from 2017- till present). He also managed artist like Shakti Mohan ( 2015- 2017), Mukti Mohan (2015-2017), Aparshakti Khurana ( 2018 for few months), Sayani Gupta (2017- July2019).
Sudhanshu’s movie projects like Veere di Wedding (2018), Sui Dhaaga (2018), Pataka (2018), Article 15 (2019) , Jabariya Jodi (2019), Made in China ( releasing soon), Satellite Shankar (releasing soon) & TV series projects like Trippling Street, It’s not that simple2, Inside Edge S2 and S3 Advertisement, 4 More Shots:- S1 and S2, Road to Cannes, The office, Kaushiki, Ceogiri S2, Verdict (streaming soon), Delhi Crime, Side Hero, etc reflect his unique position of balancing creative thinking with business acumen. He also managed a dance show performance by Shakti Mohan at AR Rehman’s show in Dubai, Dance Plus S2 & S3.
Sudhanshu says, somewhere I read a great quote ‘Your emails are your to-do list provided by others’ but when the list is long, it’s always good to plan before execution. My Vision is defined by the word one. We are one team, with one vision, and one goal. He believes in creating a collaborative and innovative environment where artists can thrive and reach their maximum potential in a stress-free atmosphere.
As mentioned, Sudhanshu has just launched his firm ‘ Rink Talent Management’ & says, I’m hoping to make some new connections and learn a lot that I can take into the future. In the coming months, I hope I can start working with even more artists, especially when I have my team to start the new work for which I am SO excited about! I’m so ready and who knows what’s to come! Well, more power to him and we wish him all the best for his new endeavor.
