The showrunners, Matt and Ross Duffer, took to Instagram with the message: "Take it all in, nerds…we’ve hit the halfway mark of filming the final season and wanted to give you all a look at what we’ve been up to." The video opens with a nostalgic shot of Castle Byers, the makeshift fort constructed by characters Will (Noah Schnapp) and Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton) in the series.

Millie Bobby Brown, who portrays Eleven, reflects on her journey with the show, noting, "So, I started when I was 10. Now, I’m 20 years old." The clip also revisits Hawkins High School, featuring Finn Wolfhard’s Mike, Noah Schnapp’s Will, Caleb McLaughlin’s Lucas, Gaten Matarazzo’s Dustin, and Sadie Sink’s Max.
