Earlier, last year on 8 September 2020, Rhea Chakraborty filed FIR against late Sushanth Singh’s sisters Meetu and Priyanka Singh along with a New Delhi-based doctor for forging and getting a ‘fake’ medical prescription of the Chhichhore star by Mumbai police.
It is said to be a six-page against both the sisters and DR Tarun Kumar from RML Hospital in New Delhi. The complainant was by Rhea. The FIR was registered under various sections of the IPC and NDPS Act.
Further, the Sushanth sisters went forward to challenge Rhea’s complaint and said that Rhea is changing statements to form a new story. Based on it, Sushant’s sisters had gone ahead to file a petition before the Bombay High Court on October 6, 2020, to quash the FIR against them.
So today, the Bombay High Court has announced that the consisting of Justice SS Shinde and MS Karnik have dismissed the FIR against Meetu but not the one against Priyanka. The verdict was reportedly reserved on January 8, 2021.
