Virat Kohli's Brother Fires Back at Sanjay Manjrekar Over Strike-Rate Remarks Confidently.

After the match between RCB & Mumbai Indians, Manjrekar stated that the rivalry between Virat & Bumrah is no longer a 'best versus best' contest.

Virat Kohli's brother Vikas opened up on social media to respond to former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar. Manjrekar's several posts about Royal Challengers Bangalore have already caused controversy during IPL 2025. After the match between RCB & Mumbai Indians, Manjrekar stated that the rivalry between Virat & Bumrah is no longer a 'best versus best' contest.

He also said that Virat is past his prime &, while listing the top 10 batters in IPL 2025, he left Virat out despite the fact that the RCB star is currently the highest run-scorer. "It was a top win, especially looking at the surface. We saw a few games here and this wicket played out differently compared to those. Whenever there's a chase on, I keep checking with the dugout, whether we're on course," Kohli stated after the victory, noting that he played a supporting role to Krunal Pandya.  

Kohli furthermore said on his batting approach, saying he studies the conditions & adjusts his style of play accordingly.
