There was little for the crowd to honour at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru during the opening session of the 1st Test match between India and New Zealand on Wednesday. Continuous rain delayed all action, stopping the toss too. Anyways, supporters found a reason to cheer when local favorite Virat Kohli entered into the field.

Kohli, a long-time member of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru franchise since the Indian Premier League (IPL) began, shares an extraordinary bond with the fandom. The crowd blowed up in excitement as Virat arrived under an umbrella before heading to an indoor training forum. Rain delayed the toss on day one of the Test match.
