Rohit Sharma was stunned when asked, "park nahi ghuma?"

Earlier in 2024, a video of Rohit Sharma's stump-mic moment went viral on social media during the home Test series against England. This memorable one-liner sparked numerous references in the following months. Even during the felicitation ceremony of India's victorious T20 World Cup team at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, Rohit Sharma found himself at a loss for words when presenter Gaurav Kapur playfully alluded to this incident.

He remarked, "You've become the first team to win the men's T20 World Cup undefeated. Not a single loss. It was a collective team effort. Is it safe to say ek bhi mein koi ek minute keliye garden mein nahi ghooma?” Rohit burst into laughter.

Rohit couldn't contain his laughter, and the crowd at Wankhede erupted in cheers. Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya, seated nearby, joined in the laughter.

Later, as Rohit Sharma, who had now lifted the T20 World Cup trophy twice in his career, including his first win under MS Dhoni's captaincy in 2007, dedicated the victory to the entire nation.
