Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the 14-year-old sensation from Rajasthan Royals, made history on Monday by scoring a mind blowing century off just 35 balls against Gujarat Titans during their IPL 2025 match. In pursuit of a target of 210 in Jaipur, the young talent propelled RR to victory in merely 15.5 overs, with 8 wickets remaining. Suryavanshi now holds the title of the 2nd-fastest centurion in IPL history, trailing only Chris Gayle's incredible 30-ball century for RCB, & he’s the fastest Indian to achieve this feat.

As the Bihar-born star broke multiple records, appreciations flooded in from around the globe. While other 14-year-olds across the nation are preoccupied with middle-school assignments & are sneakily indulging in PlayStation sessions, the left-handed Suryavanshi stepped up to face seasoned Indian bowlers Ishant Sharma & Mohammed Siraj, who collectively boast 141 Test matches in between them.

"It is a very good feeling. It's my first hundred in the IPL and it's my third innings. The result has shown here after the practice before the tournament. I just see the ball and play. Batting with Jaiswal is good, he tells me what to do and he infuses positive things. It has been a dream to get a 100 in the IPL and today it materialised. There is no fear. I don't think much, I just focus on playing," Vaibhav Suryavanshi stated after his match-winning performance.
