Paralympics 2024: India's Medal Tally & Winners List

Sports: The Paralympics Games 2024 held from August 28 to September 8 have officially begun in Paris. India has had a good start with great display of sportsmanship, strength, and talent. India will compete across 12 categories at the 2024 Paralympics Games.

Praveen Kumar- High Jump

Praveen Kumar won the gold medal in the men's high jump T64 event at the Paralympics, clearing 2.08 meters.

Kapil Parmar- Judo 

Kapil Parmar won India's first-ever Paralympic medal in judo, gaining a bronze in the men's 60kg (J1) category

Harvinder Singh- Archery

Harvinder Singh won the gold medal, becoming India's first-ever Paralympic gold medalist in archery.

Dharambir- Club Throw

Dharambi won the gold medal in the men's F51 club throw event with a throw of 34.92m breaking the Asian record.

Pranav Soorma- Club Throw

Pranav Soorma clinched a silver medal in the club throw event with his best throw of 34.59m in his first attempt.

Sumit Antil- Javelin Throw

Sumit Antil made Indian proud by winning a gold medal at the Paris Paralympics 2024 for the Javelin throw F64.

Yogesh Kathuniya- Discus Throw

Yogesh Kathuniya, another Indian who won a silver medal at the Paralympics for the Men's discus throw F56.

Thulasimathi Murugesan- Badminton

Thulasimathi Murugesan won a silver medal in the Women's singles SU5 for Badminton.  .

Suhas Yathiraj- Badminton

Suhas Yathiraj received a silver medal in the Men's singles SL4 for Badminton at the Paralympics.

Sharad Kumar- High Jump

Sharad Kumar won a silver medal in the Men's high jump T6 final.

Sachin Sarjerao Khilari- Shot Put

Sachin Sarjerao Khilari got a silver medal for India in the Men's shot put F46.

Ajeet Singh- Javelin Throw

Ajeet Singh  was awarded a silver medal in the Men's javelin throw F46 event.

Manisha Ramadass- Badminton

At the Paralympics 2024, Manisha Ramadass won a bronze medal in the women’s singles SU5 category in badminton. 

Rakesh Kumar & Sheetal Devi- Archery

Rakesh Kumar and Sheetal Devi won a bronze medal at the mixed compound archery event. 

Nithya Sre Sivan- Badminton

Nithya Sre Sivan won a bronze medal for badminton in Women's singles SH6.

Mariyappan Thangavelu- Hight Jump

Mariyappan Thangavelu won a bronze medal for India in the Men's high jump T6 final.

Deepthi Jeevanji- Running

In the Women's 400m T20 final, Deepthi Jeevanji received a bronze medal. 

Sundar Singh Gurjar- Javelin Throw

Sundar Singh Gurjar won a bronze medal in Men's javelin throw F46 event.

Nitesh Kumar- Badminton

Nitesh Kumar won the historic gold medal in in Men’s Singles Badminton SL3.

Nishad Kumar- High Jump

Nishad Kumar received the silver medal in the men's high jump T47 event achieved a season-best jump of 2.04m.

Rubina Francis- Shooting

Rubina Francis bagged a bronze medal in the women's 10m air pistol SH1 event

Mona Agarwal- Para Shooting

Mona Agarwal won bronze medal in her first Paralympic Games in 10m air rifle shooting category.

Avani Lekhara- Para Shooting

Avani Lekhara won a gold medal also in the 10m Air Rifle shooting category. 

Manish Narwal- Para Shooting

Manish Narwal gained a silver medal in the 10m Air Pistol category.

Preethi Pal- 100m Race

Preethi Pal wins a Bronze medal, becoming the second Indian Woman In history to have such a huge achievement. She won another bronze medal  in the 200m T35 category with a personal best time of 30.01 seconds.
