Hardik Pandya began his domestic cricket profession in 2013, playing for the Baroda team. He played a crucial role in Baroda's win in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in the 2013–14 season. His all-round contributions, including taking 10 wickets, were crucial in helping Baroda reach the finals. His road from that point continued to rise. Following a wonderful performance for the Mumbai Indians against the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2015 IPL season, Pandya hitched a place on India’s T20I tour to Australia.

In 2016, he made his launch for the Indian cricket team during a limited-overs tour of Australia, flaunting his skills on seam-friendly pitches during the Asia Cup in Bangladesh.

Notably, before the IPL 2022 auction, the Mumbai Indians released Hardik Pandya, who was then quickly obtained by the new Ahmedabad franchise, the Gujarat Titans, which appointed him as the team captain.
