1. Philanthropy: The man is primarily remembered by the public for his philanthropic vision. During his tenure the Tata Group was investing significantly in education, health care and rural infrastructure and development. One of India’s oldest charitable organizations is the Tata Trusts, carrying out causes such as child malnutrition, clean drinking water, and cancer care. His humanitarian profile is also expressed in his works, towards the condition of the needy population in India.

2. Passion for Innovation and Startups: After his official stint, Tata remains an angel investor in a lot of startups. He has was an early investor in the technology space which include Ola, Paytm and UrbanClap clearly showing his passion for funding or supporting India’s technological firms and research.

3. Love for Cars and Aviation: Did you know that Tata has a passion for automobiles and especially for aircraft? He’s also a car enthusiast in his home, where he owns Ferrari and Jaguar among other brands. 4. Love for Animal Welfare: Ratan Tata care for the living being and this makes him nowadays a voice of animals.
