The news of Drishyam being remade in Hollywood was shared by industry tracker Ramesh Bala, who took to social media to announce the grand adaptation of the mystery thriller. According to Bala, producers Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak have partnered with Panorama Studios, Gulfstream Pictures, and JOAT Films to bring Drishyam to Hollywood audiences.
