1. Prep Your Nails:
Start by removing old nail polish if any.Trim your nails to the desired length and shape them with a file. Buff the surface lightly for a smooth finish.
2. Soak Your Feet:
Fill a tub or bucket with warm water and add some bath salts, Epsom salt, or any gentle soap. You can also add a few drops of essential oil for relaxation. Soak your feet for 10–15 minutes to soften the skin and cuticles.
3. Exfoliate:
Make a DIY scrub with sugar and coconut oil to exfoliate dead skin from your feet and legs. Focus on rough areas like the heels and balls of your feet.
4. Remove Calluses:
Gently use a pumice stone or foot file to remove calluses or dead skin from the heels and any rough spots. Be gentle to avoid irritation.
5. Cuticle Care:
Push back your cuticles with an orange stick or a cuticle pusher. Avoid cutting them as it can lead to infections.Rinse your feet again to remove any excess scrub and debris.
6. Moisturize:
Pat your feet dry with a clean towel. Apply a rich moisturizer or foot cream and massage your feet for a few minutes to boost circulation.
7. Apply Polish:
If you want to apply nail polish, clean your nails with a little rubbing alcohol to remove oil. Apply a base coat, two layers of your favorite festive color, and finish with a top coat.
