Siddhant Chaturvedi isn’t playing by the rules. With Dhadak 2 on the horizon, where he stars opposite Triptii Dimri, the actor is once again stepping into uncharted emotional territory and he couldn’t be more unapologetic about it.

Known for choosing roles that defy conventional Bollywood moulds, Siddhant says he’s never been interested in repeating himself. “If people liked me in one kind of role, that doesn’t mean I’ll keep doing it. I don’t want to be known for just one thing,” he says. “The joy lies in transformation and in constantly challenging myself.”

In a film industry where actors often build a ‘market’ around one image, Siddhant makes it clear that he’s here to break patterns. “I’ve not come here to maintain the market I’m here to disrupt it,” he says. “I want to appeal to different age groups, different regions, different mindsets. That’s how I grow not just as an actor, but as a person.”

Dhadak 2, directed by Shazia Iqbal, explores a story rooted in love and rebellion, tackling deep-rooted societal divides. And Siddhant, with his raw screen presence and emotional depth, is all set to bring a new kind of intensity to the love story.
