Singer Shaan feels that the standards of music have diminished. Shaan is an old and very senior artist in the industry.

Talking about the standards of music has lowered, Shaan didn’t directly take anyone’s name but pointed out towards Honey Singh.

Shaan said-

“Music ki samajh kitne logo ke paas hain? Bohot kam. Hum sabko musically educate ny kar sakte lekin hum itna kar sakte hain ki aap apne taraf se good music dete rahe ki dheere dheere ek taste banega. Lekin saabse aasaan tareeka yeh hain ki mai apne sthar pe utar jau. Aaj Rap music itna popular kyu gain? Hume lagta ha galiyan de raha hain, isiliye? Nahi, usme koi musicality hain hi nahi. Agar koi gaana bana raha hai, ‘Chaar Botal Vodka, Kaam Mera Roz Ka, aap bhi gaa sakte ho, Aaj Blue Hain Paani Paani Paani, Lungi Dance Lungi Dance aap bhi kar sakte ho.

(Very few people understand music. We can not musically educate everyone but what we can do is churn out good music so that people develop a taste for it. But the easiest way is to stoop down to their level. Why is Rap music so popular today? No, because there is no musicality in rap songs. Anyone can sing song like Chaar Botal Vodka, Kaam Mera Roz Ka, Aaj Blue Hain Paani Paani Paani, Lungi Dance).
