In the latest development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the investigation has been moved to CBI. As per the reports from ANI, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta stated before Supreme Court that Centre has accepted Bihar government’s request recommending CBI enquiry into #SushantSinghRajput death case. SC is hearing Rhea Chakraborty’s petition seeking direction for transfer of investigation from Patna to Mumbai.
The SC questions Maharashtra Government over the quarantine of Bihar Police officer. It also stated that no interim protection will be provided to Rhea Chakraborty from questioning. Rhea’s lawyer had requested for a protective order but SC refused. Bihar Police can now question Rhea.
The Supreme court has given 3 days to the Maharashtra government and the police to place on record the details of their investigation in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death probe. the matter will be taken up next week. Supreme Court judge Justice Roy asked the state of Maharashtra to put on record the details of the investigation related to the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Further, Justice Roy assured that the concern raised by the late actor’s family about the Mumbai Police destroying evidence and said that it will be taken care of.
Immense pressure was created by the people for the Sushant Singh Rajput case to be probed by CBI. Thus this comes as an important development and a twist in the case.
