How do you stay fit like Salman Khan. Right from his debut to the last movie he acted in, Bharat, Salman has always been fit and has always been in good shape. One always wonders how Bhai keeps himself in shape at 55 years of age? Thanks to his diet plan and fitness regime, Salman can easily knock off that paunch and can have those abs just like a 25-year-old.

Salman has always believed in eating proper food and having a healthy diet. Here is Salman Khan’s diet plan.

He has around 3000 calories in a day. His food intake includes –

Breakfast: eggs, bread, butter, mix vegetables, chapattis, and low-fat milk. He also likes to take a heavy breakfast when spends time with his family.

Lunch: Non-vegetarian food. His lunch includes one non-veg item, fried fish, salad and lots of fruits

Dinner:  Mainly takes chicken and fish. He also takes vegetables and different soups. His favorite food is Italian one.

Salman Khan workout mantra

His workout regimen includes –

  • weight training,
  • jogging,
  • cycling,
  • cardio,
  • abs,
  • biceps,
  • triceps, etc.

The superstar has divided his week for various types of exercises.

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Salman Khan focuses upon weight training. He started his exercise by jumping and push-ups. He likes to perform dead-lifts to develop leg and back muscles. Bench press, shoulder press and tuning the fine muscles are also the parts of the exercise. He finishes his exercise by slow running on the treadmill. 

On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

Salman basically focuses on cardio and abs exercise. Sunday is exclusively reserved for cardio. Cardio and abs exercises include running on treadmill, crunches, reverse crunches, back extensions, and side planks. Sit-ups and cardio are also the main components. He works out at least for three hours every day.

He performs around 500 ab crunches daily and cycles for 50 kms each day.
