Rumors Alert: Alia Bhatt Set to Star as Jazz Singer in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Period Drama "Love And War"

Rumors are rife that Alia Bhatt will portray a Jazz singer in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film "Love And War," alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. While details about the plot remain elusive, the movie is slated for a Christmas 2025 release.

According to a report by Peeping Moon, "Love And War" will be a visually stunning period drama, paying homage to the classic film "Sangam," starring Raj Kapoor, Vyjayanthimala, and Rajendra Kumar. The cast is expected to essay complex characters, with Alia's role as a Jazz singer already unveiled.

Preparations for the film are reportedly underway, with production set to commence by the year's end. This marks Alia's second collaboration with Bhansali, following her acclaimed performance in "Gangubai Kathiawadi," which earned her a National Award.
