In the Friday night SmackDown earlier today, the WWE universe got to witness the aftermath of the Universal Championship match at Fastlane where Roman Reigns defended his title against Daniel Bryan with Edge being the special enforcer ended up attacking both the superstars with a steel chair.
Considering the incident which took place last Sunday, WWE official Adam Pearce announced later in the episode that Bryan has been added to the Universal Championship match between Reigns and Edge at WrestleMania 37 which will make the title fixture a triple-threat.
The Hall of Famer snapped after listening to Pearce’s announcement and started assaulting Reigns and Bryan, he even attacked Jey Uso who came out to the Universal Champions’ rescue.
Bryan started the show while demanding one more title shot at the Universal Championship. He even mentioned that he made Roman tap out before Edge attacked him with a chair that led to Bryan’s defeat at Fastlane. Bryan went on to mention how he was forced to wrestle for the Universal Championship after winning the brutal Elimination Chamber match which lasted for 40 minutes. Bryan refused to leave the ring before he was attacked by Edge, the Rated-R superstar said that Bryan doesn’t deserve the match before leaving the ring. WWE has spiced up the Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 37 by adding Bryan into the highly anticipated face-off.
