Mumbai Indians, Indian Team and Rohit Sharma’s fans are in deep shock as Hitman has been ruled out of India tour of Australia which is going to play in upcoming months. Also he didn’t play in the last fixer of Mumbai Indians against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday. He is suffering through hamstring injury as team management said and the opener batsmen is likely to miss out remaining season of IPL 2020.
Rohit Sharma is one of the successful captains for Mumbai Indians who won IPL title four times till now. As usual Mumbai Indians are doing great in this edition of IPL and consistently been in top 3 spots in points table. Now the league is on the business end and Mumbai Squad will miss their captain in the most important games from now. In the last match where Rohit was missed from playing XI, Pollard led the team; MI lost the match easily and this is not expected from four times title winners.
Pollard is also an experienced player in T20 format and one of the senior players in the team. But his records in IPL as a captain don’t suit his career stats. Mumbai Indians has to think on this thing but they will continue to give the responsibility to Pollard as he is the big man there and coming from Victory in CPL 2020. But he have to put efforts as Rohit Sharma do in field and Mumbai Team and fans would like their team to end as well in this edition.
