Fast bowler Kane Richardson withdrew Wednesday from Australia’s limited overs squad to face India to stay with his wife and newborn son in Adelaide, which is battling a coronavirus outbreak. Richardson will be replaced by fellow quick Andrew Tye who was part of the squad on Australia’s recent tour of England.
India tour of Australia facing many changes in the management and squads as few players are injured, Adelaide where first test is going to play from 17 December facing COVID outbreak and due to this tour and test series may see few more changes in destinations and schedules. In all this Australian squad was not very much affected but it starts affecting as fast bowler Richardson pulls out for family reasons.
His place will be taken by Andrew Tye, fast bowler who was included in the Australia’s recent tour of England. Kane Richardson is doing well for the team and giving expected results but now Tie has to show his performance out of the skin.
