In the year 2019, the Global cinema witnessed one of the best thrillers and one of the biggest hits of the year, Knives Out! Which accolade with several huge nominations, three nominations in Golden Globes, Best Original Screenplay nod at the BAFTAs, the Critics’ Choice Awards, and the WGA Awards. And the major one, Best Original Screenplay at Oscars 2020.

And as it is known, back in 2020 it was reported that filmmaker Rian Johnson is set for the sequel of the whodunnit drama, and Knives Out’s showstopper Daniel Craig will return as Benoit Blanc not only in one but two sequels of the film, according to the report in Deadline and it is said two of them are in the works, also, it has the acquisition deal by Netflix is worth $400 million.

And the report also stated, “The deal will be worth north of $400 million, making it one of the biggest streamer movies deals in history.” Rian Johnson has penned the sequels as well and is producing them with partner Ram Bergman.

Apart from Daniel, Knives Out had an ensemble cast of Chris Evans, Daniel Craig, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Michael Shannon.
