Ratan Tata is not only famous for his leadership skills and vision towards development, but also his simple living, humbleness. Despite being born in a wealthy family and leading his life as a successful leader, Ratan Tata has never let go of his mantra of simple living.

To give an example of his simple living, the first thing that comes out is his retirement home named ‘Cabins’ at Colaba area, Mumbai.

His sea-facing house is purely elegant and white. The three-storied is situated opposite to Colaba post office and is divided into seven layers and with infinity pool at the top. The floors are covered in glass windows from top to bottom. The outstanding bungalow is built 13.5 m above the ground level.

This pretty bungalow has been designed keeping the icon’s interest in mind. As he is known for being a reader and swimmer. There is also study at ground level.

The additional main attraction of Cabins is its gyms. The bungalow also has a media room and a master bedroom on the second floor and third floor has an open to sky deck and the lounge with pool. The ground floor consists of a living room, a kitchen, a study and a bedroom. All of them lifted a few feet above the ground.

Simple in appearance, Cabins is truly one of the coolest bungalows in India, priced at a whopping 125 to 150 cr.
