This is probably a big news to kick-off the Monday blues as Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh join hands once again for a comedy film titled CirKus after a huge success of Simmba.
Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer Simmba created box office records in 2018 when it was released during the Christmas season. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba collected a massive Rs 240.30 crore at the domestic box office, making it the highest grossing film for Rohit Shetty.

After the huge success of Simmba, Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty join hands together for a comedy film called CirKus, which is based on the William Shakespeare’s play The Comedy Of Error. Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma has been roped to play their part in CirKus which will be produced by Rohit Shetty, Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-Series and Reliance Entertainment.

Interestingly, Bollywood has already adapted the The Comedy Of Error play into a film, Angoor, released in 1982 which was directed by Gulzar and starred Sanjeev Kumar, Mausami Chatterjee, Deven Verma and Aruna Irani in key roles.
The shooting for Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh collaboration CirKus will commence from next month in Mumbai and the will is scheduled to be released next year during the Winter season.
