After the Salman Khan, Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda action flick, Radhe, was able to make a good impact at the overseas market on the first day, it showed a good jump on second day in Australia and New Zealand.
The latest flick from Salman Khan, Radhe was released based on the Hybrid model – OTT as well theater release. However, with the rise in the COVID 19 cases, there has been lockdown in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Telangana and Uttarakhand. In the overseas market, Radhe has grabbed 800 screens with 350 screens in the UAE and GCC which is a big market for Salman Khan especially during the EID time. Radhe had collected 1.46 million AED (Rs 2.92 crore). The Australia and New Zealand market has been decent with Rs 35.71 lakhs from 83 screens and Rs 5.90 lakhs from 25 screens. The US market was slow with Rs 40 lakhs ($55K). The first day overseas total now stands at Rs 5.05 crore.
As per early reports, the collections on the second day for Radhe jumped to around Rs 55-56 lakhs in Australia and Rs 9-10 lakhs in New Zealand. As of now, the two days total in Australia is Rs 91-92 lakhs while New Zealand should be around 15-16 lakhs. We are still awaiting the reports from other global region.
