Priyank Sharma and Shaza Morani did a court marriage last month on February 4 and later had a small gathering at Morani’s residence in Juhu, Mumbai. And that was attended by celebrities like Anil Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Sunny Deol, Poonam Dhillon, Bhagyashree, Juhi Chawla, Nikhil Dwivedi, Rajkumar Santoshi, Rumi Jaffrey amongst many others.
Now, Sharmas and Moranis are having a very good time in the Maldives with relatives and close friends like Varun Dhawan, Zoa Morani, Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhanth Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor, Shivangi Kolhapure, Padmini Kolhapure, Tutu Sharma, Karim Morani and family, Mohammed Morani and family, Padmini’s best friend Poonam Dhillon and Poonam’s ex-husband Ashok Thakeria.
But the fate has thrown a spanner in the celebrations which would have extended to Aamby Valley or Khandala, where the families had wanted to conduct the Hindu wedding ceremony, which is to be held on March 5.
Talking about the ceremony in detail a source informs by saying, “But that’s not happening for now as there has been a resurgence of COVID cases in Maharashtra, and the rules have brought the otherwise permissible limit of 250 individuals to 50 again. In view of this, the Sharmas and Moranis will have the Hindu wedding done soon but at a later date. The Maldives festivities were a pre-wedding celebration to the Hindu wedding which was meant to follow four days from now.”
