On 7th March and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning to give millions of royal fans and keen followers of the British royal family a sneak peek into their lives. The couple will be attending a 90-minute interview with Oprah Winfrey which will dish out details about their biggest statement to step back from the royal family as well as their relationship with other members of the family including Prince William and Queen Elizabeth.
Calling it an interview where “there is no subject that is off-limits”, two teaser videos were released by CBS. The brief 30-second teasers display Meghan and Harry sitting across Oprah in a remarkable outdoor space. It begins with Oprah asking Meghan, “Were you silent or were you silenced?”
While the teaser does not showcase Meghan’s answers, Prince Harry’s answer to one of the questions has cut. Relating to his mother Diana’s passing away, the Duke of Sussex admits he was scared of “history repeating itself”. In one teaser, Prince Harry said, “My biggest concern was history repeating itself.”
In another teaser, Harry remembered his mum’s efforts and while holding hands with Meghan said, “You know for me I’m just relieved and happy to be sitting here, talking to you with my wife by my side. Because I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been for her (mum Diana) going through this process by herself all those years ago. It has been unbelievably tough for the two of us, but at least we had each other.”
