Saturday time is undoubtedly LEAVE time. After TGIF, it is difficult to even wake up from the bed and just do the daily chores. You just want to chill out and end the exhaustion you have faced during the whole week. Office work can be such a bore. Saturdays are when you should catch up with your friends and family and break out from the monotonous lifestyle that you were dragging the course all over the week.
Saturday time is also book time on our routine. So this week what are we going to suggest you? Something entertaining, of course. Over the course of the weekend, you can catch over with a lot of books. But which book do we suggest? This week, let’s indulge in a bit of romance and comedy and there are not many books in this genre.
So here is one of the books which will set your mood for the next week. After all, there is so much sadness out there. No way will we let it creep in our lives.
There is this book by Sally Thorne which is called the hating game. It is something which will compel single people to fall in love. But for those who are married, you will wish to marry again. But to the same person? We do not know anything in this regard.
Here is a brief synopsis of the book –
“Lucy Hutton and Joshua Templeman hate each other. Not dislike. Not begrudgingly tolerate. Hate. And they have no problem displaying their feelings through a series of ritualistic passive aggressive maneuvers as they sit across from each other, executive assistants to co-CEOs of a publishing company. Lucy can’t understand Joshua’s joyless, uptight, meticulous approach to his job. Joshua is clearly baffled by Lucy’s overly bright clothes, quirkiness, and Pollyanna attitude.
Now up for the same promotion, their battle of wills has come to a head and Lucy refuses to back down when their latest game could cost her her dream job…But the tension between Lucy and Joshua has also reached its boiling point, and Lucy is discovering that maybe she doesn’t hate Joshua. And maybe, he doesn’t hate her either. Or maybe this is just another game.”
