During the lockdown, fitness has become extremely difficult. Shahid has therefore been keeping fit with a secret workout regime. This secret method all about getting into shape, looking athletic and lean.

From cardio exercises to power training, Shahid has been constantly in touch with Rajiv Mehra, his fitness trainer, who prescribes various workout routines to keep the Kabir Singh actor active amid a restricted Unlock phase. 

Rajiv said, “Shahid already has a lean frame. Therefore, during the lockdown, since there is no way us to train him at the gym. I have asked him to do a lot of power training. Since there is no one to see how he is training, I have advised him to do mirror practising.

3 Workout Methods That Shahid Incorporates To Keep Fit

Mirror practice:  Look into the mirror and work out by doing all types of exercises you would normally do in a gym. It helps in retaining muscle memory and focus. 

Power training: Power training methods include lifting weights. Various weight training exercises done regularly helps to burn more fat in short amount of time. 

Diet: Shahid prefers a macro diet which goes beyond the normal calorie count diets. Consuming macronutrients like proteins, carbs, fats help you to put only the necessary nutrients which your body needs. it is important to have a macro diet during the workout.
