Lana Del Rey Announces A New Album For 2025 But It's Not Lasso

American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey announced a new album called ‘The Right Person Will Stay,’ combining Americana and Country music. This news comes hours after she announced her concert dates for the UK and Ireland.

Taking to her Instagram, the ‘West Coast’ Singer shared a post announcing the album with the caption, “‘The right person will stay’ Out may 21 so grateful that my 13 tracks came together with my beautiful work between Luke, Jack, Zach and Drew Erickson amongst others. Happy for you to hear a few songs coming up before Stagecoach 🚴 🧣 , starting with Henry. Love Always”

This announcement comes months after she delayed the release of her previous album, ‘Lasso’. The album was set to release in September 2025, but it missed its release date. A month later, she clarified that she was tying up her album to give it a perfect finish. Since the announcement, fans have started speculating that she would have renamed the album, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

The Right Person Will Stay is a mix of Americana and Country, while the Alt Popstar's Lasso album is said to be a country album. Her brand new album is coming on 21 May 2025  and will feature 13 songs in total.

She will release multiple singles before the actual release, starting with ‘Henry’, which is speculated to be released in January. Just after the album's release, Lana will begin her tours in the UK and Ireland, starting on 23 June.
