Charli XCX Shocks Fans With a Surprise Performance At Times Square!

On 18 November, Charli XCX, who recently shined at Saturday Night Live, took her high-energy persona to Times Square, the heart of New York City. She took to the stage and performed multiple songs from her latest album, brat. 

Charli announced the news of the live performance through a story on her social media. She said in her story, “I’m performing live today in Times Square at 6:30 PM, so don’t miss out if you’re in New York.” Soon after her story, H&M also confirmed the performance, and fans started to gather at Times Square.

She performed five songs from her album Brat, which were 360, 365, Von Dutch, Apple, and Guess. Fan believed singer Lorde would make a guest appearance, but Charlie performed by herself at TNX. Carlie made the crowd go crazy with her thrilling performance, turning the entering Times Square light up in green, the colour of brat. 

Fans were quick to share the flashing lights and green billboards across Times Square on their social media. Even as Winter falls on New York City, Charlie XCX is keeping brat summer alive or turning it into brat winter.

She later DJed at an exclusive Saturday Night Live After Party, where she was joined by her husband, a member of the Band 1975.
