Park Seo Joon, Park Bo Young, and Lee Byung Hun to start their filming for their new movie “Concrete Utopia” from today onwards.
“Concrete Utopia” is a new disaster thriller loosely based on Part 2 of the hit webtoon “Joyful Outcast.” It is about the aftermath of a devastating earthquake which will follow the story that begins when the survivors gather at Hwang Goong Apartments, the only building left standing in an earthquake-ravaged Seoul.
Today the producers of “Concrete Utopia” celebrated the occasion by releasing photos from the star-studded cast’s first table read. . In the pictures Park Seo Joon, Park Bo Young, and Lee Byung Hun intently reading the script and getting into their characters. They also expressed their joy in filming together and shared the excitement in essaying their respective parts too.
Park Seo Joon will play the role of Min Sung, a hard-working civil servant and a devoted husband who assists Young Tak in taking care of the surviving residents of Hwang Goong Apartment. With time he becomes braver and more confident in his abilities. Park Bo Young will play Myung Hwa, Ming Sung’s wife who is a nurse by profession and uses her skills to aid the injured. She is calm and collected in the most stressful situations and has a loving heart. Lee Byung Hun will play Young Tak, the fearless and decisive leader of Hwang Goong Apartment who is determined to protect the residents of Hwang Goong Apartment.
